Want To Work Together?

Hello! I'm Kristen, a Graphic Designer based in Los Angeles

A professional graphic designer for eight years now, Kristen Diaz has built her reputation on an obsession with detail, and she has delivered consistently groundbreaking and eye-grabbing work, focusing on the power of art design to capture people's attention and stir up their emotions. She is an impactful designer, her approach one rooted firmly in her passion for creativity. She brings to every logo design, art design, graphic design, and production design product enthusiasm and insight, her energy for her work both infinite and infectious.

Most recently, Kristen served as the Production Art Designer for Fall Rush by Follett, a Fortune 200 private corporation that oversees more than 1,200 college and university bookstores in North America. There, she was responsible for ensuring the high standard of artwork on licensed apparel and resolving any art issues that arose. In addition to that, her duties included art design preparation, art design review, and detail-oriented style guide work, all within the bounds of the production standard operating procedures, which she created for her team. This was a high-stakes role in which she thrived, combining both her artistic sensibilities and her natural talents as a leader.

Prior to Fall Rush by Follett, Kristen worked as a graphic designer in a variety of freelance roles, doing logo design, graphic design, and content production for brands such as Amp Up My Biz and My Peak Challenge. As a freelancer, she adhered to strict delivery timeframes, committing herself to exceeding her clients' expectations – and developing the steadfast obsession with detail that went on to characterize her later work. Her work on brand logos enabled multiple organizations to shift their identities in their respective verticals, and the art design that she created won her high praise and more than a few positive notices.

Kristen combines traditional techniques with cutting-edge technology, and she is adept at calling up both of these skill sets as appropriate. Whether she is working on a logo design project or another type of art design altogether, she is flexible enough that she can switch over to pencil and paper so that she can put her raw ideas down quickly and then switch back to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, and Adobe After Effects for tweaking and fine-tuning her final products.

A graduate of Otis College of Art and Design, Kristen earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Media, graduating in 2012. Her first role out of college was as a graphic designer at The Next Idea, where she remained for three and a half years, honing her skills and creating design work for a wide range of media, including e-mails, flyers, coupons, print advertisements, large standees, packaging, motion visual displays, websites, interior signage, and apparel.

Kristen is an accomplished and experienced designer whose passion for her work is as prodigious as ever. When she is not hard at work, she enjoys planning events, dancing, reading, baking, scrapbooking, and making props. She resides in Los Angeles.
